Dog Portraits on Bourbon Bottles

What started as a co-worker wanting her sweet pups on display bottles for her home bar, turned into a multi-commission project for me! For those of you who don’t know me, I am a dog lover to the core!! Every message that comes through requesting a pup to be painted simply warms my heart.

Tea-Dyed Sheet Music Portraits

This cool project also began as a request by a friend. Once I posted it to social media, the requests started coming in!! The original commissioned piece was of Bono, in which I was asked to include a specific song lyric by U2 and a fun stylized painting of Bono. I sat with this request for a few days pondering what to do that hasn’t already been done. Then the idea hit me! I tea-dyed sheet music that included the lyrics she requested, tore it up to give it a vintage feel, paper mache’d it to the canvas and then painted Bono in an almost neon-affect. Hands down one of the best commissioned pieces I created!!
